Hi, Paven-
I opened your model and geometry. You have been editing the location of the Display Geometry and not the actual mechanism. Your joint is not moving in a circle; it is moving as a pin- your geometry is in the middle of nowhere so as the pin moves the geometry seems to move in a circle.
A good way of visualizing the body and joint frames is to right-click on the body or joint in the visualizer and select axes or toggle frame, respectively. Before you start adding geometry to a body, you should be able to only view the frames, edit their locations and orientations, and test behavior. Once that is done, then you can add the geometry files.
