Boundary Layer Meshing Issue

Post by Leslie Louvelle » Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:53 am

Hi,

I'm having an issue with meshing using a boundary layer for several different patient-specific geometries. I'm using the July 10th release of SimVascular (though I had the same issue with the previous release) on Windows.

I've attached screenshots of the meshing settings that I'm using and the resulting mesh. The boundary layer forms as distorted elements external to the actual surface of the geometry. I get the same result regardless of whether "Extrude Boundary Layer Inward from Wall" and "Use Constant Boundary Layer Thickness" are selected or deselected.

Any help would be appreciated - thanks!
