Error in RRA

Post by Anthony Kulas » Mon Aug 18, 2008 7:13 am

Hello,
I have run the inverse kinematics successfully and after trying to run the RRA analysis I get an error that states:

ERROR - Evaluating GCVSpline at 8.508 outside its domain [-0.504, 8.506]

I have specified that the time frame is within this time frame (1.67 - 4.9) and the trial itself only goes to 8 seconds. This is the first time I have received this message and have run RRA before. Any thoughts?

thanks,

Tony

Hi Tony,

I had this problem once before as well. Can you check to see if you kinematics data and your ground reaction force (GRF) data start at the same time? I think the first frame of each data file needs to start at the same time. If they don't, you can easily modify either one of the files using Excel or a text editor.

Let me know if that works.

Cheers,
Sam
