Questions about Analyses

Post by hongjie hou » Wed Oct 16, 2019 7:40 am

Hello everyone,
Why do the output results vary greatly when specifying the input state and the specified motion in the analysis tool input panel? When should I specify sports? When should I specify the status? The two figures below show the differences in analyzing joint forces. One specifies the motion and the other specifies the state.
is there anyone help me?

Hello,

When you provide states, you provide muscle states that usually come from a simulation. When you provide only motion, muscle states are computed on the fly resulting in different results. You should be careful with specifying what data you provide for the tools and the implications of that on the tools/analyses.

If you have more specific scenario, please provide steps to reproduce so we can improve the documentation/feedback to help users.

Best regards,
-Ayman
