About "normal.mot" in tutrial's "gait 2392

Post by Kenji Takeda » Mon Dec 14, 2020 12:49 am

Hello.

I am a recent user of OpenSim.
I am currently working my way through the tutorials.
As the title says, I have a question about "normal.mot" in "Gait2392".

What is the speed of this walk?
Is it possible to display it in the OpenSim UI?
Or is there a list of the data somewhere?

Thank you.

You could try to estimate it by looking at the pelvis_tx value at the start and end of the simulation, and divide by the duration of the simulation.

Hi Kenji, what did the walking speed end up being?
