Linking muscle forces

Post by Isabelle E » Mon Mar 22, 2021 1:57 am

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any possibility to "link" muscle forces? I would like the right and the left side of the Rectus Abdominis in my model to be activated simultaneously.

Thank you
Isabelle

Hi Isabelle,

Typically you don't "link" the forces which are outputs/results computed by the muscle model, instead you can tie/link the controls that produce these forces using a controller that sends the same signal to multiple muscles. If you send us some details regarding your use case we may be able to help you further.

Best regards,
-Ayman
