Some questions about the angle of the arm in the Opensim plot

Post by Promi Rahman » Tue Apr 20, 2021 3:22 am

Hi
I wonder how the adduction angle is calculated for the arm? Any formula? And how is the arm defined....starts from the glenohumeral joint to the elbow or from the glenohumeral joint to the wrist joint ...?

When I plot, I use the Rajagopal2015.osim or MarkersModel.osim.
Appreciate help.

Joint definitions depend on how the author of each model built their model. You should first look at the papers associated with the model (including models from which it was built) to see how they define certain joints. More general Model info can also be found on our documentation site: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu/d ... Sim+Models
