Can I compute tendon forces due to motion

Post by reza reza » Sat May 28, 2022 7:40 pm

Hi. I found this software, and it's exactly what I am looking for in terms of computing forces associated with leg motion on the hamstring tendon. I'm exploring different bracing strategies (or no bracing) and the resulting tendon forces. So far it's been great and I have the data I need if the muscle is not contracting.

However, I'm curious if there is a way to see how the forces are varied if there is no bracing and there is some activation of the hamstrings during motion (small involuntary movement) as compared to the locked off scenario. Is this something opensim can compute?

Thanks
