New project for OpenCap, which is a new software package to estimate 3D human movement dynamics from smartphone videos. OpenCap strongly relies on OpenSim.

unkown camera intrinsics of apple devices later than 2018

Hi

I would like to use OpenCap with an Iphone 11 and a 2022 ipad pro. When doing the calibration I receive an error saying the intrinsics of my camera do not exist. Is it possible the intrinsics of the Ipad Pro 2022 are not yet added to the list of known cameras? Any ideas on how to solve my issue?

Hi Rud, thanks for your message. We are working on supporting the new iPad - you should be able to use it in a couple of weeks (time for us to find one, extract some parameters, and update our database). If you can find another device in the meantime that would be great. The iPhone 11 works great.
