Sinking Model / ground constraints

Post by Madeline Grosklos » Tue Jan 10, 2023 11:51 am

I am trying to analyze a full stance phase (initial contact to toe off) for my motion capture data, however the lab set up only has two consecutive force plates. When I run RRA, the model sinks below the ground at the end of the gait cycle and residuals increase dramatically (due to a lack of GRF data under the contralateral limb at heel strike). Is there a way to apply a rolling constraint/ground contact model along with my force plate data so that the end of the gait cycle is preserved even though I do not have GRF data for the contralateral limb at the end? Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any insights is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
