The best strategy might depend on your starting point. Regardless, the TRC file format is described on the "Marker (.trc) Files" page in the User's Guide (https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:8 ... c%29+Files). OpenSim can read the file as long as it adheres to the format described there. Examples of TRC files can be found in your local Resources directory (e.g., "C:\OpenSim 4.4\Resources\Models\Gait2392_Simbody\subject01_walk1.trc).
