Hi all,
I'm running some 1D simulations and I'm wondering if the solver is using the stenosis elements by default? I'm referring to Eq. 14 from https://arxiv.org/abs/2111.04878 , for example. I would assume that the default is to just use Eq. 10: N=8*pi*nu, but I'm not sure. I don't see any option for switching between these in the SimVascular interface, does it decide automatically to use the stenosis elements for some segments?
In Sec. 2.4.4 of the above paper, stenosis detection is mentioned, but I don't see where is this option in SimVascular.
Thanks!
Hunor

Re: OneDSolver - stenosis element
Hi Hunor,
The 1D solver does not use the stenosis elements by default. Have a look at the test problem here https://github.com/SimVascular/svOneDSo ... nosis_r.in.
The ROM documentation needs to be updated with this information.
Cheers,
Dave
