In the Forward Tool, is my understanding correct that excitation is provided as input to the muscles, and then each parameter is calculated through the muscle model and the skeletal model as shown in the attached image?
Additionally, in the arm26.osim model, unless I manually add elements such as "CoordinateLimitForce," do the passive forces and the resulting torques come only from the muscle's passive elements (fpe) shown in the diagram, and does it not include passive viscoelastic elements as described in the past paper "Analysis of fundamental human movement patterns through the use of in-depth antagonistic muscle models"?
