Connect Opensim to Nest(SNN)

Hi All,
I am going to connect the model of an arm with output of a simulator (Nest Spiking Neural Network) to make movement in the muscles by output of the simulator and get feedback from the muscles and send it again to the simulator to refine the movement. Can you help me where I should start ? Sorry if my question is naive.
my second question is about installing opensim, the simulator is installed in a conda environment in Linux. which method is better to install Opensim?
