Hello,
I am new to SimVascular and I am struggling to clear memory after closing projects. Is there a recommended process for making sure memory is released?
Thank you,
Charlotte

Re: Memory Release After Closing Projects
Hello Charlotte,
Typically when the simulation is completed the memory allocated is freed. Could you be more specific about what problem are you facing? Also could you provide step by step what you are trying to do? Thank you!
Best,
David

The physical memory in the bottom right-hand of the window is above 100% and the dot is red, even when all projects are closed.

Re: Memory Release After Closing Projects
Hello,
When you close Simvascular the memory is automatically freed. When you open the software again without loading anything the value you will see on the bottom right corner is the amount of memory available on your machine. Please check your machine memory usage and also check how many memory intense programs are opened at the same time.
Best regards,
David
