Problem Scaling Data

Post by John Wannop » Mon Apr 05, 2010 10:52 am

I have gone over the tutorials and user guide, but am still having trouble scaling my data. After setting up the XML files for my marker set etc., I perform my scaling.

After scaling my markers are in the correct place with regards to coordinates in OpenSim (I can see them floating where they should be), however the bones look to be rotated 90 degrees and in a somewhat crouched position (using the both legs with muscles model - the bones look to be lying on the ground). Any ideas on what is happening?

Hello John:

Maybe is the model DoF, you must add the rotations and translations to the ground - pelvis (root) joint, and if they are there maybe these are clamped. open the .osim in your xml editor..

Good luck
Pablo
