Moments from Inverse Dynamics

Post by Roger Mathys » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:49 am

Hi,

When computing the moments with inverse dynamics for a given motion I get smaller moments when the speed of motion is increased. So if a certain range (0-60°) of a certain joint is done in 1sec the moments are larger than the resulting moments when the same range is done in 0.2sec.

Has anybody an explanation for this? I would expect to have larger moments when the angular acceleration is larger.

Thanks,

Roger
