Questions about the adjustment of forceplate data

Post by Ruoli Wang » Wed Jun 19, 2013 2:46 am

Hi all,

I have a question regarding to the numerical adjustment of the forceplate data to estimate the first double phase when there is only two force plates. I have done a study using Opensim CMC+IAA pipeline to estimate muscle compensatary activation to the co-contraction. However, we only have two forceplates in the lab, so no valid bilateral GRF data in the first double phase. I knew it is possible to move the GRF components of the secord double support phase to the beginning of the cycle, but not sure if it is possible and how to do the same thing for the COP. Does anyone have the exprience about it? Thanks in advance!
