CMC foot floor/ground interaction

Post by Andrew Lewis » Sun Jan 11, 2015 2:24 am

Hi there,
Can someone please clarify what foot-floor interactions are used in the standard CMC forward dynamics step? There is a description in Thelen & Anderson (2006) (p.1110, paragraph after equation 6) which describes linear translational and rotational spring-damper elements but I cannot find any reference to these in the OpenSim userguide documentation/online help, nor does there seem provision to alter the parameters for these spring-dampers in the CMC set-up xml. I am trying to run SimTrack for walking data using the gait2392 model.
Many thanks,
Andy
