"Sample Data" information

Post by Jenny Lin » Sun Apr 19, 2015 9:55 am

Hi,
I am writing up a report for a class using some simulation analysis of the sample data provided here to follow along with the tutorial. Could I get some more information about the sample data? All I know is that it is an abdominal MRI spanning the abdominal aorta and iliac bifurcation...but I have no information about what animal (or was it human?) this image came from. Is there any information about what strength MRI (3T?) was used to acquire this image? Any additional information about this sample data will help me in writing my report.
Thanks!
Jenny

Hi Jenny:

This link has some helpful details. Have you already read through this?

http://simvascular.ucsd.edu/clinicalCase1.html

"The patient was 67 years old and male."

Don't worry about the field strength if it is not included in the description.

Thanks,
Craig
