convert c3d without any support (platform force, ecg )

Post by cristina vulpiani » Tue Jun 23, 2015 1:39 am

Hello to everyone!
I'm new about opensim.

I using Optitrack to register motion, now I have to convert c3d file in to file.trc used in Opensim.

The problem is that I don't have force platform, Ecg, Emg, center of mass.

I made a very basically study of the motion : I need only the reconstruction of the movement and the development of the angle of rotation of the Joint during the motion.

I don't need force reaction, center of mass etc.

For InputData I have only the track .c3d and the markers list!

Any suggestion which is the easiest way to do that?

I checked for a software here, but a lot of them need support like force platform etc.

thanks

Cristina

Hi Cristina

you can try this toolbox to extract the marker data to get the .trc file for opensim : https://simtk.org/project/xml/downloads ... age_id1072

also please download the latest verison of btk compatible to your matlab : https://code.google.com/p/b-tk/

Hope it helps :)

cheers

thanks for your answer! I'm gone to try.

Is there any manual to use it? I don't find it in the folder.

Do you think is good to analyze ONLY the inverse Kinematics?

thanks anyway

Cristina
