Force Plates

Post by Darius Nahavandi » Sun Jul 19, 2015 8:51 pm

Hi,
When using Force Plate data within OpenSim, is it as simple as loading the data and applying it within your model?
Also is there any specific requirements of the Force Plate to be compatible with OpenSim?

Thanks
Darius

You can apply any number of forces to the model using the external loads file.

Opensim cares about forces (vectors, points of application). Forceplates are just a way for you to experimentally capture those forces.
