instantaneous position and orientation of a jt axes

Post by Jayishni Maharaj » Tue Jun 28, 2016 3:43 pm

Hi,
I have run ik and id on a set of walking data and am trying to calculate the moment arm of a the GRF vector relative to a joint axis (subtalar joint). To do so, I would like to calculate the instantaneous position and orientation of one of the axes during the movement. I am having problems finding the best way to do this, is there any underlying methods that I might be able to utilise to do this?
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jayishni

You should use the PointKinematics Analysis. There is information on how to use the Analysis Tool on the Wiki
