CFD analysis of Arterial flow in Thromboembolism Public Forum

Drawing inputs from Bio-medical Imaging datasets (Both of CT-Angio/ MRI) as well as to Compute the Hemodynamic parameters and thus derive an Integrated Model upon CFD simulation of Thromboembolism in Human Heart (Coronary/ Carotid artery); whereby we visualize and Quantify the arterial flow in Laminar/ Turbulent/ Eddy regimes across a broad range allowed by ranges permissible by Multi-Variate Analysis of these "25" CFD numbers, coupled with Hemodynamic parameters deviating from Normal values - attempting to link both Theoretical Number Theory and Applied Numerical Methods in this Pursuit in the Cardio-Vascular context, thereof.

SimVascular OS Configuration Issues Upgrading Win 7 to Win 10 Pro

Post by Praharshit Sharma » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:53 am

SimVascular regular users,
Please carefully look at PC configuration details below and suggest if we need to upgrade OS from Win 7 to Win 10 Pro (and if ALL other configuration needs are met to successfully run SimVascular) on our lab system, which are as follows:-

# 8GB-RAM (on an Ncomputing node, https://www.ncomputing.com/)
# 3.20 GHz Processor.
# 64-bit _x86 architecture.

Major problem is the dependency "MSVC & Intel Fortran runtime compiler libraries: NetFx20SP2_x86.exe " is NOT supported in Vista/ Win-7.

So, if you had experienced similar issue/ according to the best of your Knowledge, would you suggest to "Upgrade" our OS to Win 10 Pro?

Sincere regards, Project Admin
