4th Grand challenge load cell data

I am a student of biomechanical engineering and I have used the dataset of the 4th competition of the Grand Challenge Competition to Predict In Vivo Knee Loads for my master thesis an I have some questions on the data of the load cells. Is the formula for computation of joint contact force suitable for the unloaded extension? Is there an offset in the force data in time or force direction?
