Issues with GRF

Post by Tobi Enaigbe » Thu Feb 08, 2018 2:18 pm

I'm having issues with the ground reaction force. When i associate motion data (using my subject's grf.mot file) a green arrow appears, however it appears to the side of the model.
I believe this is affecting my results for RRA, where i'm getting very large average residual forces of FX=-0.798493 FY=700.246 FZ=-9.07666. (And the model is bobbing all over the place).

I was hoping someone could help me out with some troubleshooting tips to get more accurate grf association.

This looks like an issue with transforming the data from your lab system to the OpenSim system. You will have to look at the code you are using to perform the transformation and make sure that it is working as expected.
