Dear SimVascular developers,
I am using the latest version of SimVascular (pre-built binaries). Recently, I have received a MeshSim license file (in the last month).
I have not seen the Meshsim option in the layout of your software and I do not know how to use and activate it. I was wondering if you could guide me on this issue.
Best regards,
Omid

Hi Omid,
What operating system are you using? MeshSim meshing is only available on certain platforms and separate installers need to be given to you to be able to activate the MeshSim meshing.
Thanks!

Re: MeshSim
Dear Mr. Updegrove,
Thanks for your response.
I am using Windows 8.1(64 bit) and Ubuntu 14.04 platforms. I was wondering if you could provide me the installer packages which let me use the MeshSim.
Best regards,
Omid

Re: MeshSim
Hi Omid,
Thank you for interest in using MeshSim, but at this point in time, we are actually not going to be supporting general use of the commercial components of SimVascular. It is possible that this will change in the future, but that is how things are for the moment. If you would like to use MeshSim, you will need to build the software yourself with MeshSim turned on. See the following for some help on compiling from source: http://simvascular.github.io/docsCompile.html.
Out of curiosity, have you attempted using the TetGen meshing module? The functionality of this meshing module is very similar to that of MeshSim. If you weren't able to mesh something with TetGen, let us know, and we can possibly help you work it out.
Thanks!
