Dear all,
Hi,thanks for sharing DAS:)
Maybe I'm a freshman to use this,but I can't run the driver.m...
I download the version 2,I use the 64bit Matlab, and I set up the Opensim-Matlab scripting environment, but when I begin to run das3driver.m,the matlab just close without any information...
So,I really wonder how to run DAS correctly,or maybe I can ask you the correct step to run DAS?
thank you!
Albert

Hello Albert,
Which versions of OpenSim and Matlab are you using?
Have you tried running any of the tests in das3test.m? For example, if you run
das3test('vis')
can you see a stick figure of the model?
Best wishes,
Dimitra

Re: don't know how to use
Hi Dimitra Blana,
thank you for your reply:)
I use Opensim 4.0 and Matlab R2014 64-bit.
I tried to use DAS3 by these steps:
1.I Set up my Matlab-Opensim Scripting Environment;
2.I tried to run das3test.m,for example,I run das3test('vis') ,and the stick figure of the model showed up(I attached the stick figure)
3.Then I tried to run das3drive.m directly, and Matlab just shut down,I also use other computer to do this, but the same result came up.I don't know where I did wrong...
by the way,I also tried different current folder, such as D:\Opensim 4.0\bin and D:\DAS3_release2\realtime_model
thank you for your reply:)

Re: don't know how to use
Hi Albert,
We built and tested das3driver.m with OpenSim 3.3, not OpenSim 4.0. Have you tried opening das3.osim in the OpenSim 4.0 GUI? I haven't had a chance to try it myself, but it is possible that the model doesn't work in the latest OpenSim release.
Keep in mind that you don't need OpenSim to run the real-time model. Since das3test.m seems to be working, that means you can go ahead and run forward dynamic simulations in Matlab. If you want to visualize the movements in OpenSim, you might need to get OpenSim 3.3 for now.
Best wishes,
Dimitra
