scaling using bts bio-engineering marker set

Post by Rufaida Hussain » Mon Dec 03, 2018 12:00 pm

Hello all
I'm using BtS Bioengineering gait acquisition system smart D which export trials data as openSim files (.trc and .mot).
After I wrote scale setup xml file, I faced a problem is scaling due to marker name which contains spaces ex: r heel , l heel ...etc.
The scale tool in Gui display r only without the marker name. What shall I do?

Thank you,,,

Perhaps you could edit the marker names so they don't contain spaces (e.g., use underscore instead)? One of the parsers is likely interpreting spaces as delimiters.

Hi Rufaida!
I'm a BTS customer too.
You need to open the marker protocol you use from tracker application and change the name to reflect the marker's name in Opensim.
You can contact me in private if you need any help

Andrea
