This elastic foundation contact model can be incorporated into standalone Matlab or C++ programs or multibody dynamic simulation programs to calculate deformable contact forces between two bodies whose surface geometry defined by ACIS .sat files.

This project provides the most up-to-date version of the lab's elastic foundation (EF) contact model. The project includes C++ source code and Microsoft Visual Studio project files but does not include the necessary ACIS 3D Toolkit geometry modeling libraries. The supplied README file provides instructions for compiling a "release" (as opposed to "debug") version of the code.
