Model descriptions

model_01 initial geometries were used, tension tests performed on all ligaments (note: the ligament geometries were not changed after this point, so these tests are still valid. 

model_02 - model_04 improvements were made to cartilage and meniscus geometries

model_04 first full model which ran to 45 degree passive flexion (98% converged). patella was being "pushed away" by the MPFL,LPFL springs- noticed that febio linear springs are not tension- only 

model_04 Febio_02 MPFL, LPFL were changed from linear springs to discrete elements defined as tension only springs 

model_05 Manual editing of contact surfaces so there are no "spots" on the tie surfaces.

model_06 MCL-FMB tie surface edited due to twisting of the MCL
** After thorough dissection of the MCL, it was decided that model 6 was too unrealistic.

model_07 new MCL geometry, and tie surfaces based on dissection results.
