Summary:
Time-step issue in plotter: Inverse Dynamics - Tutorial 3

Detailed description
There seems to be an error in the plotter results when completing the Inverse Dynamics section of Tutorial 3 (right before question 8).

On page 6 of Tutorial 3, it says to plot the "ankle_angle_r and ankle_angle_l" from the Inverse Dynamics results file against time. When this is done, the data plots on a time vector of 0.392:0.016:1.592 seconds with 76 data points. The moments plot and export along this range. The actual gait motion should go from 0.4 to 1.6 seconds.

In a homework assignment, we are attempting to export the moment arms of some muscles during the gait cycle and, along with the moment data mentioned above, use static optimization in Matlab to solve for forces. Please see #3 in the attached *.doc file for the specific instructions we followed for exporting moment arms.

When this procedure is followed, the moment arm data plots along the time 0.400:0.017:1.600, giving 73 data points. I am assuming this time frame is correct and the above moment dataset is of incorrect size.

To remedy this in Matlab, we interpolated the moment arm data to the moment data range so the two sets are comparable. It seems like you'd want data exporting from the same simulation to be the same size so I'm thinking this is a mistake.

Thanks
