Misinterprets <x> <y> data when <x> data is not in ascending order.

Detailed description
There seems to be problems with <x>, <y> pairings, e.g., with Piecewise Linear function. We entered data with descending values of <x> and OpenSim gave an invalid projection error. If necessary, please sort <x>, <y> data with <x> in ascending order before creating function. Note users should be able to enter <x>, <y> data with random <x> ordering that is neither ascending or descending.
