Detailed description
Right now DOIs are manually obtained and added to SimTK. When the number of requests increases, we should automate this process. Automation would also allow users to have a window of time to update/finalize documentation, etc. with the DOI before the DOI becomes permanent. A note of caution here -- if a user updates a file, SimTK currently assigns a new URL so the DOI entry would need to be updated with the URL.
