Summary:
ligament & articular surface mechanics in healthy adults
Detailed description
The Virtual Human Knee (VHK) aims at quantifying individual variations in ligament and tibiofemoral articular surface mechanics across healthy adults. To this purpose, imaging, 6DOF testing of knee specimens, human experiments and statistical methods are used. The results will constitute e reference database for optimizing orthopedic practice toward personalized knee reconstruction surgery.
