Updates confirmed.
- Updated import UI, instructions, and status per feedback and discussions.
Tested on Edge. Correct behavior for zip archives for directories & files with leading "." at top and lower levels. Update warning message to clarify what happened --> TestTopHiddenDirectory.zip was uploaded but directories/files were not extracted. Please remove top level directories/files that start with a "." from the zip file. Also clarify instructions for "File Upload" by adding this text on a separate line with a blank line between it and the other instructions: SimTK will automatically expand compressed files (those with one of the following suffixes: .zip, .tar.gz, .tar). (put the following in bold) For automatic expansions, make sure file and directory names do not start with a "." Tested .tar and that worked for directories & files at the lower level, but the count was wrong in the error message. The first time it gave the correct count. All subsequent uploads showed the wrong count, giving the same count as the first time.
Tested Firefox, Chrome and Safari with zips containing hidden files and hidden folders. Correct error message was shown with correct number of ignore files. correctly shows warning when zip archives are used and .files are in the top level of the archive.
- Showed warning messages about content in the archive file with directories/files with leading "." when importing ".zip", ".tar.gz", and ".tar" archive files. - For ".tar.gz" and ".tar" archive files, the directories/files with leading "." are ignored and summary message about these directories/files is displayed. - For ".zip" archive files, if there are not any top level directories/files with leading "." contained in the archive files, any directories/files with leading "." in the lower levels are ignored and not imported, and a summary message about these directories/files is displayed. - For ".zip" archive files, if there are top level directories/files with leading "." contained in the archive files, the archive file is not extracted and a warning message is displayed.
