Detailed description
We currently try to build vtk libraries with bindings for java, tcl, python, and ruby. The many resulting libraries take up a lot of space, and may take a long time to check out from the repository. If we were to segregate the libraries by language binding, it could be possible for users to check out and install only those language bindings of interest to them.
