Installing on a 64 bit PC

Detailed description
Hi

I have Allopathfinder running on a 32 bit PC and it runs the myosin test case fine. The proper versions of PErl And Pymol are obviously in place.

I have it also installed on a 64 bit PC in my lab, along with the appropriate installation of Pymol (no options and it works fine stand alone) and 64bit ActivePerl-5.8.9.825-MSWin3-x64-288577.

Allopathfinder starts up fine and I enter all the input. When I hit submit, the program just closes.

This looks like a PErl problem to me - have ever tested the program on a 64 bit machine? I'll keep trying but would appreciate any suggestions on getting this to run.

Thanks,

Hi --

Unfortunately, we never tested this on a 64 bit machine.

What OS does your 64 bit machine have, XP or VISTA?

I cannot promise a very fast reply -- but we can locate an appropriate machine and we can at least test this within the next week and let you know.
