• Ahmet
  • Provide the team document from Jason Halloran about rigid body transformation matrices.
  • Provide test problem to evaluate workflow of joint data processing for modeling purposes.
  • Go over oks001 and oks004 wiki pages to incorporate proposed specification changes.
  • Start a Open Knee(s) team members wiki page.

  • Address Tara's comments on tissue mechanical testing specifications.
  • Include background preparation for video collection in tissue testing specifications.
  • Add illustrations, photos in the tissue testing specifications page.

Notes:

1. Discuss immediate action items from the last meeting.
   • Ahmet briefly summarized last meeting discussions on transformation matrices. He will provide the team an instructive document on the topic, which he received from Jason Halloran. He still needs to provide a test problem for illustration of data flow from robotics testing to model.
   • Craig and Snehal will continue adding notes to oks001 wiki page.
   • Tara reviewed and provided feedback for tissue testing specifications. Snehal will address any issues related these specifications.
   • Tara also started filling in the oks001 wiki page, particularly the sections on specimen preparation and joint testing.
2. Discuss oks002 testing plan.

   • Before oks002 testing starts, Ahmet will go over oks001 & oks004 specimen pages to update specifications based on recommendations provided there.

   • Workload and schedule for joint level testing was discussed.
     • Snehal will take knee out at 9:00 AM on Sunday (November 2, 2014)
     • Specimen preparation will start at 9:00 AM on Monday led by Tara (November 3, 2014)
     • The team will meet at 8:30 AM on Tuesday for imaging preparation led by Craig (November 4, 2014)
     • The specimen will be aimed to be ready for tibiofemoral joint testing (led by Tara) at 1:00 PM on Tuesday (November 4, 2014)
     • Ahmet and Robb will meet,early morning on Wednesday (7:00 AM) to start patellofemoral joint testing (November 5, 2014). They need to calibrate the pressure sensor on Tuesday morning when others are at imaging (10:00 AM, November 4, 2014)
   • Snehal contacted Jack Andrish to see if he can assist specimen dissection on Wednesday afternoon (November 5, 2014). He was not able to do so this time. Snehal will contact Paul Saluan to ask for help.
   • Tara needs to find suturing needle to prepare the quadriceps tendon. Ahmet asked Tara and Snehal to walk through the laboratory during this week to ensure we have everything we need for testing.

4. Other.
   • Snehal has to redo oks004 tissue testing. She realized that during the implementation of the tests, induced tissue strain after pre-conditioning was not relieved back to zero. This re-testing will also provide reproducibility data and may illustrate the effect of an additional freeze-thaw cycle on tissue properties.
   • Ahmet will start an Open Knee(s) team member page in the wiki. This will help personalize the project and increase the visibility of individual members.
