Immediate Action Items:

Ongoing Action Items:

Notes:

  1. Discuss immediate action items from the last meeting.
    • Ahmet met all the members of the advisory board and will update the meeting minutes on relevant Wiki page.
    • Craig is working on the presentation for SB3C.
    • Craig will also discuss convergence optimization workflow with students.
    • Snehal contacted Morgan Jones for dissection of oks008. The dissection went well and students got the opportunity to see the knee anatomy up close and had a good learning experience. The dissection was also video recorded and will be uploaded to Midas.
    • Snehal has updated the tissue testing plan and is currently testing out both the PID tuning software and the Mach-1 system to find the right protocol vs system capability combination.
    • Omar was able to plot channels for tibiofemoral experimentation data for the sample files Ahmet had provided. He will start working on the AP laxity data.
    • Ahmet will also disseminate oks008 imaging data. He is also working on understanding tdms file organization used for robotics testing. He will add an illustration to show data organization from experimentation.
  2. Discuss oks008 testing/ data.
    • Testing of oks008 went well without much unexpected issues. Notes of any deviations etc. were added as testing progressed.
    • Craig will put sample images for oks008 on specimen wiki page.
    • Tara will provide sample laxity data for oks008 on specimen wiki page.
    • Robb will calibrate oks008 pressure sensor.
  3. Progress on summer internship projects.
    • Connor will determine organization of data in global registration marker config files. He will work on transformation matrices acquired from registration markers. He will also convert experimental sphere (registration marker) coordinates to Optotrak coordinate systems.
    • Diana will work on obtaining contact area from pressure distribution, peak contact pressure and total contact force from the csv files of time history of patellofemoral pressure distribution.
  4. Decide immediate action items for the next meeting.
    • See Immediate Action Items above.
  5. Other.
    • Image segmentation was discussed. Students will start familiarizing themselves with Slicer 3D and ITKSnap.
