Immediate Action Items:

• Cleveland Clinic (Ahmet)
  • Address left over action items from previous meetings.
  • Provide support letter for FEBio grant renewal.
• University of Utah (Steve)
  • Implement Ahmet's recommendations to the in situ strain manuscript.
  • Format the in situ strain manuscript based on JMBBM guidelines.
  • Submit the in situ strain manuscript to JMBBM.

Notes:

1. In situ strain feature - final review of publication and running simulations.
   • Steve finalized his work on the manuscript and Jeff provided his final remarks. They sent the manuscript to Jason and Ahmet for review.
   • Ahmet provided his comments and these were discussed in the meeting. Most of his recommendations were editorial. He also requested some clarification of the plug-in implementation and added some text in the Discussion to summarize the work and provide a take home message.
   • The group agreed to submit to the Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials (JMBBM). Steve will format the manuscript based on this journal's guidelines and submit.

   • Ahmet will check previous meeting minutes to catch up with action items that has not been addressed.
   • Submission to renew the FEBio grant is approaching. Ahmet will provide a support letter by October 23, 2015.
