Re: Wrong Excitation Data
Hi You need to check your emg files there must b definitely values greater than 1 even though MVC normalized. You shud try normalizing with all the trials you have for that subject including MVC. That solved my this problem. Muscle activations need to be between 0 and 1 for CEINMS lest it will throw...

Re: overestimated joint contact loads using JRA
I also observed disabling the vastus group significantly reduced the joint loads. However, the muscle forces for vastus group are similar to that reported in literature for STS and are not extremely high.

overestimated joint contact loads using JRA
Hi everyone I intend to estimate knee joint contact loads using the Muscle forces estimated through CEINMS toolbox. The muscles forces estimated are similar to ones reported in literature for STS transfer. Also, since, JRA is highly sensitive to inputs, I validated my IK & ID results with the litera...

Hi Luca
Thanks for responding
This worked and improved the IK results significantly.
Thanks again

IK in Opensim 3.3
Hi everyone I am using OpenSim 3.3. When i do the IK analysis, the model appears to be shaking which also results in rough IK plot like Screenshot 2023-05-26 115817.png Also it only happens when i use this model https://simtk.org/frs/?group_id=933 Although its filtered during ID but what can be the ...

Re: Normalising Data
Hi
I am not really sure since m writing my own script. If you are using BOPS toolbox https://simtk.org/projects/bops, it will plot it for you according to the gait cycle (%)
Not sure about other tools.
Hope this helps

Re: Normalising Data
1) and 2)Yes you can do it but not in Opensim. You can use MATLAB/Python
3) Ofcourse just open excel and open the .sto file.
Hope it helps

Re: No excitations found in EMG-Informed analysis
Hi Gustavo
Just wanted to know how long does your calibration take? What are the specs of your computer?
Thank you

Opensim 4.3 visualizer crashes
Hi everyone I upgraded this model https://simtk.org/projects/osufullbody_sts to 4.3. It runs smoothly on Opensim 3.3, however, switching to 4.3 made the GUI extremely lagging and unresponsive. When scaling the model, the scaled model does not appear at all and then visualizer crashes to a black scre...

Re: Getting really high values from Joint Reaction Analysis
Hi everyone I am having the same issue when calculating knee joint contact loads using CEINMS muscle forces as inputs. Not sure if this applies to your problem but I fixed mine by changing the child frame of the JRF to the desired body instead of the default 'ground'. I did try this. It did not make...
