CMC error

Post by Hoon Kim » Thu Oct 10, 2019 10:36 am

Hello.

I am using OpenSim 3.3.
I used the recently uploaded model (https://simtk.org/projects/high-hip-flex).
And, the motion I collected is countermovement jumps and squat jumps.
I ran Scaling, IK, ID, and RRA.

I found an error for most of my data during CMC.

The error was :

CMC.computeControls: t = 0.68
Exception caught in Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle::calcMuscleDynamicsInfo from addlong_r
Exception caught in Millard2012EquilibriumMuscle::calcFiberVelocityInfo from addlong_r
SimTK Exception thrown at MuscleFixedWidthPennationModel.cpp:219:
Error detected by Simbody method MuscleFixedWidthPennationModel::calcPennationAngularVelocity: Fiber length cannot be zero.
(Required condition 'fiberLength > 0' was not met.)

So, I checked all muscles' fiber length by plotting. There was no muscle of which fiber length is less than 0.
Also, I checked muscles' optimal length. Those are good.

I don't know why the message is saying that the fiber length is problem.

It would be very helpful for me run CMC and finish my research if anyone helped me.
Thank you so much for any comments.

Sincerely,

Hoon
