Immediate Action Items:
- Ahmet
- Review contents of subject configuration XML file for in vivo testing.
- Tammy
- Work with Tara to evaluate data collection software for in vivo testing procedures.
- Ben

- Continue documentation of simple indentation model using FEBio and using SOFA.
- Get Tyler's computer set up before his arrival.
- Start working with sample MRIs to explore segmentation strategies.
- Tara
- Update data collection software based on feedback from the last mock up session on in vivo testing procedures.
- All
- Meet with Tyler to get him up-to-speed with the project.
Notes:
- Discuss immediate action items from past meetings.
- Ahmet will review the subject configuration XML file and the data collection software for in vivo testing after he comes back from in progress review meeting.
- Tammy scheduled mock up sessions, one for this week, the other after Ahmet comes back from the in progress review meeting. Tara noted that updates for the load transducer data collection system will not be ready this week. Therefore, the team decided to cancelled the first upcoming mock-up session. Tammy noted that she will likely work with Tara to evaluate the software updates during Ahmet's absence.
- Ben continued comparative analysis of SOFA and FEBio performance using the simple indentation model. He obtained comparable indentation forces in SOFA despite different constitutive models for tissues, i.e. linear elastic in SOFA vs neo-Hookean in FEBio. He started exploring mouse interactions and haptic rendering in SOFA. He believes that haptic rendering needs a plug-in to be installed. He also started investigating cutting and carving of meshes in SOFA, which potentially need plug-ins.
- Ben will need to work on documentation of simple indentation models both in SOFA and in FEBio.
- Tara started to update data collection software based on feedback from the last mock up session on in vivo testing procedures. There are a handful of remaining issues that need to be addressed.
- Readiness for in vivo testing.
- Updates to the data collection from the last mock-up session need to be completed.
- Ahmet received the foot switch to use with the ultrasound machine.
- Tammy set up multiple mock-up sessions, which will be held through May 2016.
- Decide immediate action items for next meeting.
- See Immediate Action Items above.
- Other.
- Ahmet will be out of office next week to present the project at the in-progress review meeting. He advised the team members to have a meeting if they prefer.
- Tyler will be starting next week. Ahmet asked all team members meet him to get him up to speed. The team may use the weekly meeting as a way to introduce him to the project. There will be an imaging session for another project next week. Tara can take Tyler to imaging and also show him cadaver experimentation. Tammy can show ultrasound imaging and in vivo data collection. Ben can describe the models he has been working on.
- Ben mentioned that he will get Tyler's computer set up for his arrival.
- Ahmet asked Ben to start looking at sample MRIs of the cadaver legs and start exploring segmentation strategies from Open Knee(s) project to get the geometries of skin, fat, muscle, and bone.
