- Ahmet
- Reach out to SOFA forums about compilation of haptic library (SOFA-HAPI)
- For in vivo testing specifications, move preliminary work to discussion pages.
- Tyler
- Meet with Robb to discuss Optotrak mounting in the in vitro testing room.
- Finalize documentation for the instrumented ultrasound.
- Place orders for video cameras, lights, cables, 80/20 for table and monitor mounts, monitor mounts.

- Start developing and documenting modeling specifications in the wiki.

- Readiness for in vivo testing
- Ahmet confirmed that the necessary paperwork for renewal of human subject testing has been filed.
- Tara made the requested changes to data collection system, including progress indicator and other minor adjustments.
- All specifications and infrastructure pages related to in vivo testing should be finalized. Tara, Tammy, Ahmet, and Tyler will work on these.
- In vitro testing setup and specifications.
- Tyler discussed updates to the in vitro testing room. He presented the corner table design. The digital video, lighting, computer, monitor specifications were discussed. The corner table, video cameras, lights, and other hardware will be ordered this week.
- The cadaver specimen order is awaiting purchasing approval to be released.
Modeling & simulation update.
- Ben finished updating auxiliary software wiki pages.
- Ben discussed his recent work in image segmentation using an adapted Python script. He is working to generate useful output form the segmentation. Ahmet presented a previously written script that utilized SimpleITK. This may help Ben output the segmentations labels to the “.nii” file format.
- Ben summarized learning models both for FEBio and SOFA. Some limitations, e.g. when using certain geometries in FEBio, were noted. Ahmet advised Ben to start working on development of specifications for modeling processes.
- Other.
- Ahmet discussed recent changes made to the wiki main page. Specifically, the roadmaps for each major part of the project were organized based on Go/No Go decision making stages.
- Ben ordered the computer for Rici, the new team member who will be joining the Cleveland Clinic next week.
