- Rici
- Prepare complete draft of in vivo testing data manuscript for co-authors to review for submission.
- Tammy
- Continue segmentation for modeling and simulation.
- Robb
- Provide feedback for instrumented ultrasound paper.
- Tara
- Complete software modifications for surgical tool experimentation.
- Ahmet
- Compile haptics libraries and SofaHAPI.
Notes:
- Discuss immediate action items from past meetings.
- All action items were related to the recurring agenda items; refer to discussions below.
- Manuscripts update.
- Tyler has been preparing the final draft for submission. He is waiting for Robb's input.
- The in vivo data manuscript will wait for completion of data dissemination strategy by the Stanford University and submission of the instrumented ultrasound manuscript. The draft is more or less complete. Rici will touch up to prepare it for review by co-authors before submission.
Ben will return back to the manuscript on modeling & simulation.
- In vitro testing progress.
- Tara has been making the final adjustments on software for surgical tool experimentation before the final dry mock test. She has been implementing spherical marker registration.
- Rici developed a basic data analysis pipeline to evaluate data from surgical tool experimentation immediately following collection.
- Tyler setup the analog trigger and analog file identification signals to synchronize with the cameras of three-dimensional strain measurement system.
- The labeling strategy for surgical tool experimentation trials needs to be elaborated. The naming should include references to the surgical tool(s), the tissue or tissue interface, and the surgical act.
Modeling & simulation progress.
- Ben continued to run simulations both with FEBio and SOFA using specimen-specific lumped tissue geometry and ultrasound indentation experiment data. He was not able to achieve realistic results with SOFA simulations.
- Decide immediate action items for next meeting.
- See Immediate Action Items above.
- Other.
- None noted.
