Notes:

1. Manuscripts update.
   • In vitro data paper was accepted with minimal revisions. Rici resubmitted the manuscript in response.
   • Rici has been out of office. No update on in vivo data analysis manuscripts.
   • Given significant changes in Ben model assembly scripts, Ahmet and Ben will review Ben's modeling paper. Ahmet also noted that he can share with Ben a related grant application that has relevant text.
2. Data dissemination update.
   • Rici has been out of office. Ahmet did not receive any updates from Stanford University team.
3. In vitro testing status.
   • Tyler reverse engineered the instrumented surgical tools to verify the manufacturing accuracy. CAD points and models were updated for easy analysis of data when collected. RMS errors ranged from 0.26 mm to 0.78 mm when fitting the divot points digitized around the 3D printed load cell casing. This activity will inform the team to understand registration uncertainties when relating tool kinematics and kinetics data to tool geometry.
   • Ahmet reminded Tyler about tissue testing specifications. He thinks that we may simplify tissue testing by focusing on stress-strain behavior at relevant loading rates rather than a comprehensive stress relaxation.

4. Modeling & simulation status.

   • Ben will be leaving Cleveland. He will continue to work on the project remotely.
   • Ben compiled all the scripts including exploratory trial versions. He uploaded them to internal data management system including the sample data and results. Source code was also uploaded to the source code repository.
   • Ben noted that the model assembly is ready to use by other users.
   • Ben will also document a complete lumped model workflow in response to first modeling priority. This will help Sean understand the workflow and start building models.
