Multiple Subject Summary

  1. Demographics summary
    1. What you will need
      1. subject_demographics_summary.py
      2. Subject xml files to include in the summary
    2. Running the summary script
      • Program will search for 'MULTIS_test' directory, if it cannot find that directory you will be asked to browse for the directory.
      • A list of available subjects will appear, check the boxes of the subjects that you would like to include in the summary (use the 'Select All' button to automatically select all boxes)
      • Click 'Okay' and the script will run
      • A figure with all of the data will appear, refer to the attached example figure and key with the description of variables. Demographics Summary Examplekey.png

  2. Thickness summary (anatomical trials only)
    1. What you will need
      1. subject_thickness_summary.py
      2. Thickness xml files to include in the summary in appropriate analysis folder
    2. Running the summary script
      • Program will search for 'MULTIS_test' directory, if it cannot find that directory you will be asked to browse for the directory.
      • A list of available subjects will appear, check the boxes of the subjects that you would like to include in the summary (use the 'Select All' button to automatically select all boxes)
      • Click 'Okay' and the script will run
      • A figure for each location (16 total) will be saved in a folder called ThickSumFigs. Thickness Summary Example

  3. Indentation summary
    • Linear fit of indentation data was used to calculate the slope of a line constrained to the origin. Stiffness was defined as the slope of the Force Magnitude vs. Displacement curve.
    • Stiffness boxplot for each indentation location. Lumped Stiffness
