Naming Convention
- "Model Number"_"Specimen ID"_"Limb Segment"_"Model type"_"Mesh density"
- Model Number: unique identifier for each model (001, 002, etc.)
- Specimen ID: ex. CMULTIS001-1
- Limb Segment:
- (UA) Upper Arm,
- (UL) Upper Leg,
- (LA) Lower Arm,
- (LL) Lower Leg
- Model Type: Four letters
- LUMP: lumped model with skin, fat, and muscle all lumped together as soft tissue.
- LAY1: Layered model method 1 - Individual meshing of skin (extrude), fat, and muscle.
- LAY2: Layered model method 2 - adaptive meshing using skin, fat, and muscle labels.
- Additional methods for the layered models may be added.
- Re-sampling rate indicator (mesh density)
- Two-digit number indicating the iso-parameterization value used during mesh development that infers mesh density. Higher values indicate a more dense mesh.
QUESTION: Should each model have a separate directory location or should we use a folder structure similar to the in vivo system where the trial number will define what files are extracted (i.e. model [.feb], model outputs, model analysis, etc.)?
