I am a PhD Candidate creating open-source tools to better measure, understand, and treat impaired gait in Parkinson's disease. Specifically I have been using wearable sensors to detect impaired gait and use this as feedback to a neurostimulation system to modulate therapy in a personalized, and closed-loop manner. I hope that my collaborative projects together with Professors Scott Delp and Dr. Helen Bronte-Stewart will improve mobility for people with Parkinson's disease.
